Acciubkt.—On Ilrarsday lost, a young man named . John Lopg, ,of thiß place, abrakesman on one of the-freight trains on the Penna. B. R, had his left.arm badly crashed about the elbow, by being caught between the dead-heads of two freight cars which he was engaged in coupling. The accident occurred a short distance below Huntingdon, to which town ho was immediately conveyed. Dr. Lew Jen was called in and dressed the fractured arm. The injured man was bro’t to this'place on Thursday evening, and we are pleased to learn ia doing as well as could be ex pected. The Ihjcrbd.—James Plumer, the young man injured by the' premature discharge of a cannon, while bring a salute in honor of the .ar rival of Gen. E. C. McGill and staff, at the Hol lidaysbgrg encampment, is recovering as rapidly as the nature, of bis wounds will admit He still remains at the American House in Holli daysburg.
