The Knights of Tythias in their Bocret
session last evening disposed of the O. B, N.
question to the satisfaction ef those who
know what those letters refer to.
. Corson, or, better still, "Feannta," the
notorious thief, was held to ball by Alderman
Kerr yesterday for robbing Jeremiah Tratt. .
The other prisoner, Ililey, was also similarly :
dealt 'with.
John Sigh, a Chines steward on a vessel .
At Mead Btret wharf, tlvr,t the mate on Thurs
day night, thinking be was a river pirate. The
injuries of the mate are not serious.
II. M. Farker, of Louisiana, stopping at
the La Pierre llorse, had his trunk rifled
daring his absence on Thursday night of a
cumber of diamonds and othor jewelry, etc,
to the amount of $rj)00. A window-washer of
the establishment is under arrest on -suspicion
of tho theft.

There is a strong probability of a general
resumption among the Kiiners of the Letigh
legion within a few days.
The official vote for Governor of Con
ecticut was declared yesterdoy, giving Eug
lifeh 47,4!I2 and Jewell 47,450, which, with 17
scattering votes, secnres a majority cf 25 for
the first-named gentleman.

The cannonade of the Maillot J ate con
tinues. The Duke of Croglie hm returned to his
post 8 French ambassador to London.
Tho Assembly at Versailles now rejects
ell propositions for armistice and cocciliation.
The lighting between the two factions in
Franoe continues, and with much fury on
both sides.
It is annouooed tbnt Germany supports
the claims of tho inhabitants of Alsace against
France.
The five hundred million francs indem
nity due on the 1st of April from France to
Prussia remains unpaid.
The Tarifiiana have been 'driven to the
right bank of the Seine, and have not at
tempted to return to Asnieres.
A despatch dated 8t. Denis says that
there are symptoms of the Prussians leaving
the forts, which will be given up to the regu
lar government.
The taking of Asnieres was accomplished
"by stratagem. The troops f the line simu
lating friendship and fraternization, thus
passed the outposts of tho inccrgents without
difficulty.
During the discussion in the Cortes yes
terday, Senor Castellar spoke in strong terms
of condemnation of the House of Savoy. lie
was called to order by several members on
the Ministerial side, and a secne of confusion
ensued which only terminated in the adjourn
ment. .Several thousand interred troops have
just reached Versailles from Switzerland, and
thirty-two thousand more are ready to fol
low. The Versailles army have thrown np in
trencbinentH on tho left bask of the Seine,
end are now concentrating at Puteaux and
Courbevoio.
The Prussian military authorities have re
quired the Government to furnish informa
tion of the number of troops daily arriving at
Versailles.
Another revolution is imminent in Franoe,
the Commune having arrested the Central
Committee on the ground of its negotiating
with President Thiers to betray Paris. In
turn, the National Guards threaten to arrest
tho Commune unless the committee are re
leased. Complete anarchy reigns in Paris.
