Science Advances.-As soon as an article purporting to be of utility haa been tested, and its merits endorsed by publio opinion, unprincipled parties endeavor to replenish their depleted purses by counterfeiting, and substituting a spurious for the genuine article. Some time since, mer cury, in the disguise of pills, powders, eU.. was given for all diaeaaea of the stomach and liver, while quinine was freely administered for the chills. At length Hostet Tib's Stomach Bitters made ita advent, and an entire new system of healing was inaugurated. The beneficial fleets of thia valuable preparation wa1 once acknow ledged, and mineral poisons suffered to sink into that ob scurity to whioh an enlightened age has consigned them There have been many spurious Bitters palmed upon the community, wbioh, after trial, have been found perfectly worthless, while Hostettf.r's haa proved a blessing to thousands, who owe to it their restoration to health ; and for many years we have watched the steady progress of Hostettbb's Stomach Bittkrs in public estimation, and its beneficent effects as a cure for aU complaints arising from the stomach of a morbid nature, and we are free to say that it can be relied upon as a certain relief and remedy. - Ita proprietors have made the above preparation, after years of careful study and sitting, and are now reap ing the reward claimed by this valuable specific, and which they so richly merit. It is the only preparation of the kind that ia reliable ia all cases, and it therefore deman.U the attention of the afflicted. Card tboM Wanamamr Bbown. BOW THE FACTS TELL. READ, A NO SPEAK OF 11.
