Kabley's Undertaking Kstauijkhment. Among the
most popular, complete, and extensive undertaking esta
blishments in this city is that of Mr. F.dward S. Karley.
The mention of his name speaks bis reputation. Well
known notoriety as a general undertaker, but more especi
ally as the inventor and manufacturer of the "Patent
Burial Oaaket." his business has outgrown the circum
scribed facilities he could afford it at the southeast corner
Of Tenth and Green streets. He found it necessary, there
fore, while atill retaining his old place aa an office, to pull
up the stakes of his factory and seek more room. Luckily
he pitched upon a location at No. 1228 Hidge avenue, just
below Green street. Than this, no other site could have
been mors eligible. Space he gets, accommodations he
gets, and an opportunity to displuy his "Caskets" in a way
that exhibit all their advantages. His salesrooms-some
lour or five in numberare handsomoly fitted up, crowded
with his improved coffins, and open at all times to the in
spection of the public He occupies Ave buildings allotted
to different branches of the business. From this circum
stance some idea of the extent of he business may be
formed. In these buildings, from the first handling of the
rough board, the ooftin is manipulated to its finest finish
ing touch. ,
W.th his greatly enlarged facilities, Mr. Earley can now
Vromptly fill all ordera, no matter bow large or urgent. He
solicits the patronage of both country and town. Under
takers out of the city can transmit their orders by tele
graph and have the assurance that by the next railway
train the articles they sent for will be on the way. Under
