To these gentlemen pre-eminently belongs the credit of establishing for this city a reputa tion first in importance for innocent and ra tional amusement and joyous recreation. This much we are led to say in view of it, believing the fete will be one of unexampled splendor and elegance, as neither labor nor expense will be spared to render this the Iial par excellence ot the season. The deco rations, music, dances, dresses, and arrange ments in general will be second to none. The subscription books are now open, and tickets to be obtained of P. E. Abel, at Peter eons'.
