Ad airs between Avfetria and Prussia are with
out change. There is a report that to supply
the necessary change they intend issuing a lot
of postal currency. Several eminent busluess
men have already submitted propositions to
have their portraits encraved pon it, or a view
"tcforc and after taking it."
The Schleswig-IIoh-teiu question is settled, so
thetelcRiaph reports say, into a tetrular quarrel.
The debate on the Reform bill commenced in
the House of Common last niilit, the objeot
is presumed to he to get 6 per cent, taken off
the Mil for cah, but as none of the metnbf rs
knew the exact amount of the bill, they came to
no conclusion.
Mr. Gladstone moved the bill, and put it on
the passage. It U feared that some of the mem

not see it, anil (-tumble over it. They have
stumbled over i-evrral previous bills already.

Although the following advertisement would

having been published in the "married depart

could not let such an important announcement

of The EveninoTeleurapu, and more especially
as will appear from the advertisement), ns tho
time is short for the public to avail themselves
ol the benefit of it:

the 80th inst.
Will the "Sujiper Scene" in Paradise, as por.
frayed in the Miltouion Tableaux at Concert
Hall, present any comparison to "Paradise
Hall" about supper time on the 30th inst.? Not
if we can help it. When a steamship leaves
port they generally advertise the last day on
which lrcight will be received; therefore ship
pers will take notice, jeanjoan, iuse a
good business man, does the like, but
with this exception the former craft
generally advertises the exact location
of its starting point, this latter merely says
"Paradise Hall." Now that mght be a lout;
haul to reach. Are the goods to be delivered at
Ninth and Green, at the Norristown Railroad,
or at the Reading Railroad depot ? Time is short,
and to find anything like Paradise in Montgo
mery county, according to our experience of
that county, one ought to have very definite
directions.
