Naval Affairs. The United States

The St. George's Society. The 94th
anniversary ot the bocicty ot tho Sons of St. ercorge,

men in distress, was celebrated on Monday evening
at the Continental Hotel. An excellent dinnor was
spread, of which the nioinbcrs and a number ot in
vited guets partook. At the close of the feast the
regular toasts were drank, to whioh suitable replies
weio made by gentlemen present.
Drowning Cask. An inquest was held

Itailroad company have already coHiractod and

cars which will be ready by the time the season

season at that pleasant eoasido resort will commence
