Yes terday James Kevins, Esq., at one time one of oorniost prominent' brokers and e-titnable citi zens, died at hia residence in this city. He wm born in Norwich, Conuecticut, in August, I7i)0, and is the only survivor of twelve children of Colonel David Nevus, of that place.
