The thirtieth anniversary of the Sunday Schools of Emanuel Episcopal Church, Marlborough street, above Giruid avenue, was held in the church yesterday alternoon. A large number of persons were in attendance, ninny being unable to gain admittance. The report of the Superintendent, Mr. Joseph Chrittiau, was reud, and exhibited the following facts: The total amount of mis sionary 1 offerings collected during the year amounted to gtfST'ol; the number of female scholars attending the main school is 10: num ber of males attending the same, 14G; making a total of 320. Ninety-one scholars were admitted during the year, aud seventy-five were either transierrcd to other schools or loft. The infant schools are attended by 175 children. Two hun dred new books were added to the library during the past year, aud it contains at the present time upwards ot UUO volumes. Ladies' Centenary Association. A society called the American Methodist Ladies' Centenary Association has been organized for the purpose of co-operating with and aiding the Central Centenary Committee of the Metho dist Episcopal Church in the accomplishment ot its beneficent designs. The funds ot this Association, alter paying current expenses, will be appropriated to the Garrett Biblical Institute, at Evanston, Illinois, tor the purpose of erecting a dormitory hall or home for students while pur suing their theological course; and to the Motho - diet General Biblical institute, at Concord, to be removed to the vicinity of Boston, in equal sums, until each shall have received fifty thousand dollars, after which all contributions shall be ?aid to the Connectional Centenary Educational und. Dkdication of Brainerd Mission School. The dedication of Brainerd Mission School building, Greenwich street, east of Moya mensing avenue, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The building is a neat, unpretend ing brick structure, and will accommodate about five hundred. The interior contains on the walls a variety of maxims of a sacred character, such as "God is Love," "Feed my Lambs," etc. At the appointed time of dedication the house wa9 thronged to overflowing, the scholars of the Sun day School occupying a place in the body of the edifice. Addresses were made by Rev. Dr. Brainerd, Kev. Jo'in McLeod, Rev. Wjlcott Calkins, and by other pastors of the Philadel phia churches. The Coterie Carnival. A meeting of the directors of the Coterie Carnival fancy dress ball, to dispose of the private boxes at the Academy, and to appoint the necessary com mittees to olliciate on the occasion, was held in Parlor C, Continental Hotel, on Saturday evening. The first floor box on the right was purchased by T. Potter, Esq., lor $75; the left hand box was sold to Mr. Thomas McClellan, from Pitts burg, tor $75; the two proscentum boxes were bought by J. C, Risloy, Esq., for $65 and $75; the two third tier boxes were sold for $10 and $12 each. The affair concluded with a champagne supper, alter which the assembly was neatly addressed by Colonel A. K. The Changeable Weather. Satur day was a balmy, spring-like day; the weather was delightful, marred only by th dampness which pervaded pavements and thoroughfares. Overcoats were uncomfortable, and ladies promenaded without their furs. Yesterday, a cold, cutting wind prevailed, and fleecy cloud were driven to the southeast by the northern blasts. There was a ditlereuce of ten degrees between Saturday and Sunday, at noon. To-day wo are having another "blue" Monday.
