The excitement In the Gold Market culminated
yesterday afternoon, and after selling at 22.1, tha
price receded to 21.1, and was heary at tha clou.
At the Fifth Arenne Board, In the events;, the
price Ml to 213J, at which price large tales were
made. It is stated in well-informed circle lh

higher figures. What, however, mainly con
tributed to the fall was the rumors from 6her
