TTTHE Great Preventive Medicinei
II Tbowgh Wright's Indian Vegeta
ble Pills have achieved triumph upon tri
umph, in the cure of obstinate cases o
disease; even after they had been etnifef
ly given up, and after all other remedies
had failed, yet their power of prevention
may bc justly esteemed their growing
glory ! - ,Storms," it is said, ."purify
the air," but storms do mischief also,
and are so far an evil; Were it within
human-power to maintain the Electrical
equilibrium between the earth ' and air,
there would be no occssion for storms,
for the air would always be pore.
- So of the human body. If kept free
from morbid humors, the action is regu
lar and healthy.' Hut if those humors
are - allowed to accumulate, a crisis, or,
in other words, a storm, will arise, which
is always more or less dangerous. : r
wWright's Indian Vegetable Pills are
equally well calculated to prevent the
storm; or to allay it when it comes. - But
prevention is better than cure, besides
being cheaper and leas troublesome.
The delay of a day in the commence
ment of sickness has often proved fatal,
and always render the ease more diffi
cult to manage. ;
Let the sickness be caused by chan
ges of weather, high living, want of ex
ercise, close confinement, functional de
rangement, or anything else, the effect
upon ihe body is much the same is
equally dangerous, and is removable by
the same means. . .
- Have you a cold? Let it not ripen in
to Consumption, j Are you Dyspeptic?
Beware of the hypochondria. Two
Pills taken every other night on an emp
ty stomach, for a short time, will, in nine
cases tout 'of. ten, cure 4he Dyspepsia,
and thereby drive away the legion of
"devils blue. -For-Headache, no me
dicine' is superior to fright 8 Indian
Vegetable Pills. Costiveness, that pro
lific mother of disease, is caused - by a
torpid state of the liver, whieh these
Pills effectually, cures. By striking at
the root of disease, Wright's Indian Ve
getable . Pills prevent all and cure all.
They can hardly ever be taken amiss, if
used with common discretion; and we
rommend them to the use of those .who
have not yet tried them. '
Beware of Counterfeits of all kinds;
Some are coated with sugar; others are
made to resemble in outward appearance
the original medicine. The safest course
is, to purchase from ihe regular agents
only, one or more of whom may be
found in every village & town in the stale.

r There is no such thing as fair ia
the history of this wonderful BALSAM.
Evidence the most canvincing- evidence
that no one could doubt, fully establish
es this facl. For the sake of brevity wa
select the following from thousand?.
1 Isaac Plait Esq., Editor of the Pough
keepsie Eagle, one of ihe "most influen
tial Journals in the state o New York,
states, under the authority oMsis owa
name, that a young . lly- a
his, of rery delicate constitution was at
tacked in February, 1812, with severe
cold, which immediately produced spit
ting of blood, cough, fever, and cthef
dangerous and alarming symptons
Through medical treatment and care sha
partially recovered during the summer
But on the return of winter she was at
tacked raorr vicjenily ,lhan at first, slia
became scarcely able to walk, : and waa
troubled with cough, chills, and fever
every day, and appeared to be goinj
rapidly with Consumption ; at this time,
when there was.no sine of improvement
Mr; Platt procured a boiile of WIS
TAR'S BALSAM OF WILD CHER
RY, which she too!;, and it seemingly
restored her. She got a second, and be
fore it was half taken she was restored
to perfect health, which she has enjoyed
to the present lime, -.without ihe slight
est symptons of her former disease.
The following we bafe . just , received
from Messrs. Fall, McCracken Si Co.
agents for the sale of Wistar's Balsanr
ol" Wild Cherry, at Lancaster. Ohio.
To the Public. I feel it my duty as
an acl of kindness to the afflicted, to in
form them what Wislar's Balsam of wild
Cherry has done for my ' daughter.
Thera is many a parent who has given
up a beloved daughter or son. as a prey
to that fell destroyer consumption. They
have, as I have done, tried all the most
skilful and eminent physicians withia
their knowledge, and all of the most
papular remedies lhat seemed, to hold
out some hope for a continuance of life,
without getting any relief. SO" To ail
such who, like me, have been seeking
with trembling hope for some remedy of
rcalcUiciency, I would say. seek ua
farther but try at once Dr. Wistars Bal
sam of Wild Cherry. .My-daughter Sa
rah Jane, aged 17 years, whose life fcf
months had been dispaired of, and was
supposed a sure prey to consumption,
has been cured ; r restored to perfect
health ; and that too by usinj five bot
tle of Dr. WIS TAR'S BALSAM OF
WILD CHERRY". ; .
