THAT very valuable FARM and PLAN
TATION, lying on the Long Marlh in
Queen Anne's county, (late of Maryland, con
taining about five hundred acre*, about fifteen
miles from Chester town, fix from Church bill,
and twelve from the head of Chester.
This property is an obje<£l of very great spe
culation, particularly to any jcrfon in the graz
ing line, and in fail to any parson wiftiing to
v«lt tbeir money in lands. There is a very large
proportion of laid farm laid down in timothy,
and will cut graft fufficient, I doubt not, to pay
a neat profit of SCO dollars a-ycar. There are
also about twenty acres mere cleared and fit to
lay down in grass ; and what renders it more
valuable is, that when once the timothy is weM
fct, it will last any person's life lime: And
what is called the bed of the Marih, (of wliieh
there is a conliderable part belonging to this
farm) tkej'oil is from four to fix feet deep, of
a black rich loom, and will average from two
and an half to three tons of timothy an acre ;
tad tor two years pall all the hiy which could
be spared from the farm, has Bid at the flack
for five pounds a ton. Ihe arable land <is calcu
lated for wheat, rye, Indian corn, and particu
larly for whit is called kite-foot or bright tobac
co; it is weil timbered, and cqntaius maple
(wimps, that when cleared, will make meadows
eqsal to any on the farm.
Any person wilhing to purchase, can view
the premises on application to Mr. Stephen
Formaß, on said farm. The conditions of sale
■will be, one half the purchale money on the
firtt day of January next, and the lemtinder
on the lirft day of May following.
