THAT very valuable FARM and PLAN
TATION, lying on the Long Marih in
Queen Anne's county, state of Maryland, qoa
taining about five hundred acre , ub >ut fifteen
mile 9 frotn Chelter town, fix from Church hill,
and twelve from the head of Chelter.
This property is an obj?c£l of very great spe
culation, particularly to anyperfon in the graz
ing line, and in faift to any person wishing to
v«ft their money in lands. There is a very large
proportion of laid farm laid down in timothy,
and will cut £rafe fuffkient, I deubt nor, to pay
a neat profit of SCO dollars a-year. There are
alio about twenty acres more cleired aad fit to
lay do#n in giafs; and what renders it more
valuable is, that when once the timothy is well
set, it will last-any person's life lime: And
hat it called the bed of the Marih, (of which
there 13 a considerable part belonging to this
farm) the foil is from four to fix tret deep, of
abhekrich loom, and will average from two
and an half to three tons of timothy an acre ;
and for two years pad all the hiy which could
be spared from the farm, has fold at theftack
for five pounds a ton. Ihe arable land is calcu
lated for wheat, rye, Indian corn, and particu
larly for what is called kite-foot or bright tobac
co ; it is well timbered, and contains maple
fw:mps, that when cleared, will make meadows
eqnal to any on the farm.
Any person wilhing to purchase, can vie**
the premises on application to Mr. Stephen
, Forman, on said farm. The conditions of sale
wiil be, one half the purchaTe money on the
firft day ot Jinuary next, arid the remainder
