of himielf and the other trofteei for the estate
of Samuel Caldwell, fur viving partner of Jamas
Meffe, bearing date Philadelphil„sth Month
,17th 1799, fUicd as to.lowi, viz. That a certain
John Collins had in confeqiietice of fraudulent
tleeds p<sll, obtained patent* for two certain
trails of land, one situate in the county of
Northnmberlandi lnrveyed to Samuel Caldwell
in purfuancu of a warrant dated in 1774 ; and
th« other situate new in Luzerne couuty, sur
veyed to laid Caldwell by a warrant also daud
in 1774 —and retjatfted that patrnts might be
granted, for the laid trails, to William Cram
jnond, Edward Tilghinan, John Afhley, and
Thomas Stewardfon, trustees of the rflate of
Samuel Caldwell, surviving partner of James
Meefe, as the said two trails were part of the
eflatc of Meefe and Caldwell.
Whereupon the Board having considered tht
fame, ordered that Jt least sixty days notice be
given in one of the Philadelphia newTpapers,
and in the Lancaster Journal to the said Collins
or his assigns, to apprar before the Boaru 011
the firft Monday in Odlober next, to shew caule
if any he or they have, why patents should not
