The petition of Thomas Stewardfonori behalf
®f himfdf and the other trustees for the estate
of Samuel Caldwell, fuivivmg partner of James
Mesfe, bearing date Philadelphia, sth Month
17th 1799, Hated asfodows, viz. That a certain
John Coliins had in confeqnence of fraudulent
deeds poll, obtained patents for two certain
trails of land, one situate in the em nty of
Northumberland, surveyed to Samuel Caldwell
jn pursuance of a warrant d.itfcd in 1774 ; and
ths oiher situate now in Luzerne county, sur
veyed to said Caldwell by a warrant also datid
in 1774 —andtfrequelled lhat patents might he
granted, for the said trails, to William Cram
tnond, Edward Tilghiuan, John Afhley, and
Thomas Stewardfon, trustees of the eflatt of
Samuel Caldwell, surviving partner of James
Meefe, as the said two trails were part of tlif
eflat.c of Mcel'e and Caldwell.
Whereupon the Board hiving considered the
fame, ordered that at least fiicty days notice be
given in one of the Philadelphia nrwfpapers,
and in the Lani after Journal to the laid Collins
or his assigns, to appear before the Board on
the fir ft Monday in Oilober next, to (hew eaule
if any he or they have, why patents flionld not
ifloe for the said two traits to the said trullecs
agreeably to the prayepuf the said petition.

William Bullus, John Moore, in the right of his
Mary, John Bullus and Ruth Builu*, who
claim an undivided sixth part of all that trad of
bind situate, and being in Springfield, Bur
lington county, containing eleven hundred and
eighty-eight acres and a half of an acre pr there
abouts, formerly devized by Mary Luulam to
Francis Bullus, who by his lad will and testament
devised the famfc trad to William Bowser, and
John Turner in trust/or Samuel Bullus his son in
Ice, which said Sams-el Bullus by his deed bearing
date on or about the s th day of March ti 9 6,
conveyed the I'amc to his children Francis Bullus,
and the fame Ann Bloomfield,formerly Ann 3ul
lus, William Bullus, Mary Builu?, now Mary
Moore, John Bullus and Ruth Bullus, I have nom
inated and appointed Job Lippencott, Esq. of
Springfield aforefaid, Abraham Stockton and Chas.

parts, and unless proper objections are stated to
me on the am day of Nov. next, at my office in the
city ot Burlington at ten o'clok in the morning of
that <Jay, the said Job Lippencott, Abraham Stock
ton and Charles Ellis, will then be appointed the
Commillionerg to make petition of the said trail
of land, pursuant to an ad, entitled, " an ad: for
the more eiiy ffctition of lands held by Co-part
