ver ; thence up the Main Branch of the said ri
ver to the place where the Indian boundary line

The Ration to be supplied, is to consist of the
following articles, viz. Eighteen ounces of bread
or flour, or when neither can be obtained, of one
quart rice, «r one and a half pound of fiftedor

beef, or One pound of faltrd beef, or three
ortiHdr* of a found - of i'alted Pork, and when frelh

half for every hundred rations.
It is expected the propolals will vlfo extend to
the supply of rum, whiflcey, or other ardent spi
rits at the rate of half a gill per ration, and Vine
gar at the rate of two quarts tor every hundred
rations. The projofaJs will fpccify the price of
the fevcral component parts of the ratitfn, as well
as those of lublfitutes or for parts
thereof.
The rations are to be furnifked in such quantities
as that there flail at all times, during the term of
