" An A(£t making further provision forthefup
" port of public credit, and for the redemption
" of the public debt"—parted the third day of
March, one thousand seven hundred and ninety
five, 2s barr from settlement or allowance,
Certificates, commonly called Loan Office and
final fet'lement Certificates, and Indents of In
ferefls, is suspended until the twelfth day of
June, which will be in year one thousand ievtn
hundred and ninety nine.
That on the liquidation and of the
said Certificates, and Indents of Interest, at the
Treasury, the Creditors will he entitled to receive
Certificates of funded Three Per Cent. Stock equal
to the amount of the said Indents, and the arrear
ages of interest due on their laid Certificates, prior
to the fir!! day of January one thouland Icven
hundred and ninety one.
That the principal sums of the said Loan Office
and final letflement Certificates, with the interest
thereon, fincethefirft day of January, one thou
sand seven hundred and ninety one, will be dis
charged after liquidation at the Treasury, by the
payment of interest and reimbu;f«mcnt of princi
pal, equal to the sums which would have been
payable thereon, if the said Certificates had been
fubferibed, pursuant to the Afts making provision
forthe debts of the United States, contradcd dur
ing the late war, and by the payment of other,
'unu, equal to the market value of the remaining
