Lot No. 8, js of a triangular form, contains ele
ven acres and one hundred and twenty fix perches,
is part timbcrsd, and has the old mansion house,
tit-hen, b rn, spring house, ica. thereon.
The conditions of sale are, one third of the pur
chale money cafb, one third in fix months, and

One Hundred Dollars Reward.
RAN away from the Subfariber, onTuefday
the fecoad of this inft. April, living in
Kent county, Maryland, near Chester Town,
the following described Negroes, viz. William,
about 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, a yeUowilh com
plexioned fellow, about thirty years of age,
formerly the property of doctor William Mat
thews, he has been very much given t« running
away, and has been so often described in the
public papers within this twdve months that
any further description of him fee ras needless.
Jacob, about 6 feet high, a:id about 31 year*,
of age, of a common Negroe completion,
down look, his little finger of his left hand
stands ftraiaht, occasioned by the cut of a fickle.
Patt, the wife of said Jacob, about 27 years of
age, a small light made woman of a yellowi/h
completion, with thick lips tor an American of
her stature, (he is a very good needle woman,
and spins on either small or «reat wheel, and is
very handy in any common house work.—Two
children of the said Jacob's and Patt's, the one
a male child about four years old, the other a
, female ch'dd about two vears old. The above
described Negroes took witfitliem, hefides their
own wearißg apparel, three coats, two of which
were linfey cloth of a light grey color, bsth
new ; one of the two was a great deal too large
for either of the said fellows j the other coat of
brown cloth, half worn; three under jackets,
one a v»lvct, another a drab, the other a light
colored liniey cloth do, one new pair of Caff
Ikin (hoes, lined with linnen and bouf.i with
leather, one pair of boots remarkably large in
the legs, several pairs of stockings and a lilver
watch, all stolen : their own wearing apparel
as follows —Willia®} had on a light-horse regi
mental coat worked with (jlvtr twist, (which
coat he had whe* he was brought home to me
the firft of February last, a round sailor jacket
(blue,) thicket breeches, patched with cordu
roy in the stride, with other neceflary clothing.
Jacob, two linfey cloth coatees, lead colored,
one new the other half worn, blue linfey cloth
jacket, half worn, two pairs of linfey cloth
trowfers, ef a lead eoJour, the one new the o
ther half worn, tolerable good Iboes and (lock
ings. Patt has every day cloathing, and her
children wore home made linen and linfey, her
other cloathing not so well known ;|it is uncer
tain which course they may take, as William is
such an experienced coaster.
Any person or persons apprehending fa id ne
groes or founding them, so that their matter
may get them again, fliall he entitled to the a
bcve reward, or in proportion for either of
them, that is to fay, 40 dollars for each of the
fellows, and twenty doflars for the wench and
children, and if brought home, all reasonable
charges paid by
