body of tbefe lands are not thirty miles from
the ocean, and principally within tide water ;
that the Alatamaha is navigable for boats and
rafts two huudred miles above, and for large
vtilels within ten of them ; that they are
chiefly firfl rate pine lands, producing timber
equal m quality to any in the frate of Georgia,
poffeCing the fame advantages of navigation.
