1794, having this day constituted their Board
pursuant and agreeably to the said treaty, do here
by give notice, that they are ready to proceed to
business accordingly; and they deOrs that all claim,
under the said article (which so far as the fame de
scribes the cases thereby provided for, is hereunto

within the defcriptioß of the said article, but also

" Whereas it is alledged by divers British mer
chants, and others his majesty's fubjefls, that
debts to a confutable amount, which were bona
fide contracted, before the peace, still remain

only the full recovery of the said debts has been
• delayed, but also the value and security thereof
