" fide contra&ed, befcre the peace, still remain
lt owing to them by Citizens or inhabitants of the

11. The head of William Penn, handsomely en
graved, will be prefixed to the firft, and a map or
Iketch of Pennsylvania, and the parts adjacent, to the
second volume.
Ill* The price to fubferibers will be four dollars
and an half in sheep, and five dollars in calfone
dollar to be paid at the time of fubferibing, two dol
lais on the delivery of the firft, volume, and the re
mainder on the delivery of thefecond.
IV. When one thousand copies are fubferibed
for, the work will be nut to press and finifbed with

the slate of Maryland on the 19th December,
1791, entitled, " An ail for erefling a bridge
over Potowmac river.
'• Jfnd be it enaSed, that the said diredlors or
any t<vo as them (hall and may require any sum
or sums ps money in equal proportion from each
and every proprietor, as may from time to time
be necessary for carrying on the building of said
bridge; and after giving three months public
notice, it lhallanJ may be lawful for the direct
ors K> sue for an<l rscover in the name of the
company such unpaid requisition, with all costs
and charges incidental thereto, and legal interest
thereon from the time the fame should have
7 been paid: And the negletfl or refufal to pay any
such requisition after public notice shall have
been given at least for three months in all the
newfpapers herein before enumerated, foal) have
| the effeil to forfeit all preceding payments made
on the ihare or shares so negletfed or refufed to
£ be paid to the use and benefit of the company."

mation of such of the stockholders as have not
