completion of the work, they will be fold at

It is wholly unneceflary to expatiate on the
advantage,to American readers, that this edi
tion poffeiTes over every imported edition of
any fvftem of Geog aphy extant. The addi
tion of maps of the several ft ate , procured at
si very great expense, and Irom the bell ma
terials that are attainable, speaks such full
conviction on this fubjeft, that it would be
difrefpeft to the reader's understand ng to
suppose it requisite to enter into a detail of
arguments to prove its superiority. In no
similar w®rk hav* such maps been ever intro
duced.
The emenJations and additions which »r«
made in this work,are innumerable,and occur
in every page. The public are referred to
the preface for a flight (ketch of a lew of
tbem.

him with documents for improving the maps

fuins to which they are entitled (or fix months
of theit annual pension, from the founh day of
September 1793, and which will become due
011 the sth day of March 1794, will be paid on
the said day by the Commilfioners of the Loans

gulations.

must be accompanied with legal evidence of
