GIRLS 4 BEWARE! The Alleged £rick of a Philidelphian to Entrap Baa ton and Bethle hem Girls. fclASToMtily 29—A man who gave his name as Miller came to Easton last Monday and registered at the Gerver House. He then proceeded to engage girls to act as domestics for an organ manufacturer on Fairniount avenue, Philadelphia. Two Easton girls and a Bethlehem girl were en gaged. One of the Easton girls was to have gone to the city yesterday on the 3 o'clock train, and the other was to have accompanied him last evening. Fearing that the offers and the action of the man were not honorable, one of the girls had a telegram sent to the the organ manufacture, and an an swer was promptly returned saying - that no one had been authorized to hire girls for him, and that Miller is a fraud. A warrant for the arrest of Miller was then procured by the girls charging him with trying to induce the girls to go to the city for an un lawful purpose. It was giyen to Chief Tilton, but when the oftieer ar rived at the hotel he found that Miller had disappeared without footing hii board-bill. The girls aro still here and intend to remain. They are not quite so "green" as Miller supposed them to be. ADVICB TO MOTHERS.
