ATEH'S CATHARTIC TILLS arc the best of al
purgatives for family use. They arc the pro
duct of loug. laborious, anil successful chemi
cal investigation, and their extensive use, by
physicians in their practice, and by all civilize
ed nations, proves them the best and most, ef
fectual purgat ve hill that medical science
can devise. Being purely vegetable no harm
caaarlse from their use. in intrinsic value
and curative powers no other Tills can be
comparei with them, and every person, know

and maintain iu healthy action the whole ma

they are especially adapted to the needs of
the digestive apparatus, derangements of
which they prevent and cure, if timely taken.
They are the best and safest physic to employ
for children an l weakeifed constitutions,
where a mild but effectual cathartic is renalr

The revenue books show that during
the year 1880 fit,561,300 were received
for revenue stamps from the match
manufacturers of the United States.
This would make the number of match

700 matches per year to every man,
woman, and child in the Union. •
