POOR MANAGEMENT.— Many people
are too saving to make money. They
would hardly risk their eggs to set the
hens had not their old mothers done
the like. We observe the money ma
king farmers are those- who keep up j
with the times—have plenty of good |
machines to save time, labor Ac. Where !
do they get the money to buy all these, j
says "Old Fogy." Why sometimes
they have to borrow it for awhile, but j
most machines soon pay for themselves
and the interest too. Every intelli
gent farmer now admit- that Grain
Driil- or Seeders will more than pay
their cost on an average each year. We j
can't see how farmer- who areirt debt or !
want to get "a-head" in the world ran
afford to do without a drill. Resides as i
success in wheat raising depends very ;
much on early sowing, every farmer
should have a Drill of his own and not
depend on his more liberal neighbor.
FIRST in peace, as it has been during !
the war, and first in the estimation of I
the American people, among ai! the
perfumes of the world, Phalon's j
"Night Blooming Cereus" is a great i
staple in all parts of the United States, j
Its -ale during the past year ha- been
literally colo-sal. Obtainable every- 1
where.

■JITTER W*INE OF IRON.—An
J ) exquisite impregnation of dry Spanish Wine
with the ac'ivity of Calisava B-rk. and 'he most
energetic of all the ferruginous sal's. Citrate of
Magnetic Oxide of Iron. I; has a vinous flavor,
very grateful to the pilate, is without chalybeate
taste and will not discolor the teeth.
It excites languid appetite, gives xes? to food. ;
in)proves digestion, increases the strength, stead- |
ies the circulation, takes off muscular fl ibbiness, j
removes the pallor of debility, gives Srmues- and i
precision to 'tie action of the nervous system, with J
power to endure fatigue and resist disease.
Magnetic Citrate of Iron is new and peculiar. I
differing from the ordinary Soluble Citrate, in
containing an equiolent of Protoxide of Iron, in
place of the Ammonia. It is neutral, tasteless,
without astiiugeney, as prompt and energetic as
the Chloride, and unlike that, induces no local in
flammatory action or head mhe.
Calisava Bark is pre-eminent among vegetable
tonics, has no equal as a strengtheuer or restora
tive, nor rival as an anti-periodic. Retail 11 $1
and $2 bottles, Quarts and G illous for dispensing.
