i[ Kv Their Fruits Ye shall KndwibThem.
A few Democratic families reside in that
( ' : .sric k-cnlity fcnsttiouly known as "Texas."
These faitliful, few are daily and nightly insul
(ej by the children of the Abolition residents
I ~f that neighborhood, wbo utter the most pro
fire and obscene language, stone the houses of
the Democrats.and do every thing they can to
annoy and outrage the e e peaceable and iooffen
4ve people. Several of these families are com
posed exclusively of ladies, and upon these the
chivalry of "Texas" specially pours out its vio
lence. Now, we do not blame the children ; the
fault rests with the parents (who, we are told,
encourage them in tboir vile condu: and with
the moral le aching they receive at e . ,rch and
Siibbuth-s'clioo 1. We call the attention of the
I'C <f people of Bedford to (ho conduct of the
"Texas" children and ask tUevn to note - the
church an 1 Sabbath-school which they attend.
I heir devilish behavior is the fruit of false
teaching. Dot those \vho have their moral cul
ture in their hands, Le held responsible. But
the diaboilcal spr it which urges children to
such outrageous acts, must and shall be quelled.
The Democrats of "Texas" must and shall be
protected. If they are molested, in the fu
ture, the law will be enforced against their as
saiiants; and if their rights cannot be asserted
under the law. a little moral suasion will soon
bring some of the hypocrites and blackguards
of that neighborhood to their senses.
