Whereas, Susan Temple did prefer her petition to
the Judge of the Court or Coma on Pleas cf bedlord
county, praying for the causes therein set forth that
she should be divorced from the bonds of matrimo
ny entered into Witu James Temple. We therefore
command you as we have heretofore commanded
your predecessor, that you, the said James Temple,
setting aside all other business and excuses whatso
ever, to be and appear in your proper person before
our Judges at Bedford, on the Ist Monday. (2u day)
of May next, to answei the petition or libel of tbe
said Susan Ten pie. And show cause why the said
Susan Temple, your wife, should not be divorced
from the bonds of matrimony, Ac., agreeably to the
act of Assembly in such case made and piovnied,
and hereof f ai! not. Witness the Hon. James Xill,
Esq., President of our said Court at Bedford, the
