relapse for four more. She has been well sinct then
till last Saturday ; while engaged in house-cleaning

had no decided chil!. Two days later her ankles
began to swell, which was followed by swelling oi !
the knee joints aur of the bands. Sfce has now dull j
pain in her shoulder:-, and her knuckle* are very i
tender, red and painful J both bands are affected, !
but the right is most so. This, ti.rn, is a case of I
acute rheumatism, or, as it U now fashionably call- j
ed, rheumatic fever. Ir is a well marked typical '
