Making an average of 40 per month, of whom 2
ate colored. There are also I who are blind, 11 in
sane, 4 confined to bed. There were ai-o 5 out
door paupers, who are not included in the above fu
neral and other expenses, were also paid for 2 de
ceased paupers in the county who were unable to be
brought to the Poor House. Hills were paid for
boarding and medical attendance for paupers who
were sick in different parts of the county—2l2 way
faring paupers were provided with board, lodging,
&c., of whom 129 were from Germany, 52 from Ire
land, 12 from England, 5 from France, 2 from Swe
den, and 12 were Americans.
