March G. 1855, the folio wing resolutions were
unanimously passed by said Board;
Resolved, That we do hereby appoint Dr. F.
' REAMER Physician to the Poor and House i
of Employment of Bedford county for one year j
from this date.
Resolved, That said Dr. F. C. Reamer be arid
be ig hereby required to attend all paupers!
within six miles of the Borough of Bedford, and i
■that for liis services in attending the Poor House;
and Paupers within six miles ot said Borough,
e do hereby agree to pay him the sum of one
hundred dollars per annum.

Was stolen from the stable of the subscriber
in Cumberland Valley Township on the night
j of the Bth inst. a dark hay Horse with two white
' feet, small slar in the forehead, (rather long,)
| one eye resembling a glass-eye, having inure
white than the other; by close examination a
; litile white will be found on the under lip: his
! teet are large: he is a regular trotter.
He is full 16 hands high, five years old this
spring, and carries up well when rode.
