The holiday season is typically a time for people to celebrate with family and friends, but for people who have lost a loved one to death this time of year can be especially difficult. Coping With The Holidays, designed to aid those coping with loss during the holiday season, will begin on Tuesday, November 25 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., at Neffsville Mennonite Church, 2371 Lititz Pike, Lancaster. The pro grams, sponsored by Hospice of Lancaster County’s Pathays Center for Grief and Loss, are led by a professional bereavement counselor and offer people coping with loss the opportunity for group discussion and time to share. In Lancaster, additional Coping with the Holidays groups for all losses will be held on December 9, 16, 23 and 30, January 6 and 13. All the ses sions will be held at Neffsville Mennonite Church, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. On December 9, a Coping With the Holidays program for adults will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hospice of Lancaster Countv, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster. In Ephrata, a holiday support group will be held for all losses on Thurs day, December 18, 7:00 p.m. to 8:80 p.m. at Ephrata Cancer Center, 460 North Reading Road, Ephrata. Families are encouraged to attend. At the November 25 session only, children 5 years of age and older are also welcome. Children will gather for activities related to their loss experience while the adults meet separately. The support programs are offered free to the public by Hospice of Lancaster County. The Lancas ter County Bed and Breakfast Association has announced it plans for the annual Christmas Heritage Tour of Inns. Twelve inns will open their doors for the holidays between Dec. 4 and 6. Commemorating the heritage of Lancaster County, each inn will have a different theme. Bowman House, Alden House, Kimmel House, and Harvest Moon B&B. • Friday, Dec. 5 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.; Mt. Gretna Inn, Lovelace Manor, Hillside Farm B&B, and Columbian Inn. • Saturday, Dec. 6 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.: Flowers and Thyme B&B; O’Flarety’s Dingel dein House, Apple Bin Inn, and Kings Cottage.
