changed to higher on whites, and unchanged on
the balance of frozen products when compared
to last week’s trading. Trade sentiment was
fully steady to firm for whole and whites, but
generally steady on the balance of items. Offer
ings were tight to barely adequate for trade
needs. Demand and trading was reported as
moderate to good Liquid and frozen eggs (in
gredients included) processed under federal in
spection in the Eastern region for the week end
ing November 08, 2003 were 8% more than the
previous week, and 11 % more than last year.

were trending higher The market tone was
firm. Demand into all channels ranged moder
ate to good. Large eggs were on special for 99
cents per dozen. Supplies were balanced to tight
for full trade needs. Breaking stock offerings
were adequate to tight for the moderate to good
demand. Spent hens were light to about ade
quate for slaughter requirements.

mained firm. Demand was good. The New York
shell egg inventory decreased 3% when com
pared to last Monday. Supplies were mostly
tight for present requirements.
