Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds was
seasonally fair to good. Seller offerings were in
good balance to well cleared. Live supplies were
mostly moderate; weights were in a full range of
light to heavy. Processor schedules were very
light with some plants suspending operations
for today. Less than trucklot asking prices were
unchanged at 61 to 71 cents. Trade sentiment
was fully steady. In the parts complex, boneless
skinless breast were available; bone-in breasts
were more than sufficient Leg and leg quarters
were adequate. Drums and thighs were ade
quate to well cleared. Wings were tight.

New York. Trade sentiment was firm Demand
into all channels was moderate to very good.
Supplies were mostly tight to instances ade
quate and held with extreme confidence. Break
ing stock supplies were sufficient to tight for the
light to good demand. The National total shell
egg inventory was 1% higher than a week ago.
Spent hen offerings were light to about ade
quate for the moderate demand.

changed on both heavy and light canners when
compared to a week earlier. Demand was fair to
moderate with most most traders generally un
aggressive Trading was very limited but with
available offerings clearing satisfactorily. Pro
cessing schedules were about normal. The un
dertone was steady.

DOMESTIC MARKET HIGHLIGHTS: The
market tone on frozen whole turkeys was
steady, instances firm on 8-12 lb hens, 16-24 lb
toms steady to barely steady. Demand for holi
day fill-in basis light. Previously booked prod
uct is given first priority. Offerings were uneven
and varied by weight and by packer. Bulk parts
and meat trading seasonally sow.
EXPORT MARKET HIGHLIGHTS: Trad
ing slow. Demand was light to moderate, some
buyers continue to take a wait and see attitude
and wait for a change in the market. Bulk parts
offerings mixed. Non-Russian approved thigh
meat demand light for the adequate to ample
offerings.
