Weekly Meat Production Under Federal Inspection
WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 14 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat pro
duction under federal inspection for the week ending Saturday, Nov. 15,
was estimated at 869.2 million lbs, according to the USDA's Agricultural
Marketing Service. This was 1.0 percent lower than a week ago and 4.1
percent lower than a year ago. Cumulative meat production for the year
to date was 1.1 percent lower compared to the previous year.
