Mostly prices were higher on whites and
sugar yolks, unchanged to higher on salt yolks,
and unchanged on whole when compared to the
previous week’s trading. Trade sentiment
ranged steady to firm with whites and whole in
the best position. Offerings were short to barely
adequate for most trade needs. Demand and
trading was moderate to light for immediate
shipment as most traders were not willing to
take any long term deliveries. Liquid and frozen
eggs (ingredients included) processed under fed
eral inspection in the Eastern region for the
week ending November 01, 2003 were 5% less
than the previous week, and 8% lower than last
year.

unaggressive during midweek trading as dealers
eyed the market with caution. Offerings of
boneless-skinless breasts were available at dis
counted levels in an attempt to stimulate inter
est. Bone-in breasts were adequate to better bal
anced. Dark meat cuts were clearing

were adequate to well cleared. Live supplies
were moderate; weights varied and were mostly
desirable to light. Processor schedules were
moderate. Less than trucklot asking prices were
