members showed and sold their
market hogs recently at the Mid*
dletown Grange Fair in Wrig
htstown. The judge was Todd
Benekoff of Kutztown.

ing for $460.
Leidy’s Inc. of Souderton pur
chased the 213-pound reserve
champion which was shown by
Josh Crooke, Ben’s brother, for
$3BO.

The Champion Pair was also
shown by Josh Crooke, and they
were purchased by R & S Equip
ment and the Bucks County 4-H
Sheep club for $7lO each.
Overall 25 market hogs were
shown with an average of $285
per pig. Other buyers at the sale
included Hatfield Quality Meats,
Quakertown Veterinary Clinic,
Davis Feed Mill, Leonard
Crooke, Central Bucks Farms,
Dublin Agway, F.M. Brown’s,
Windy Oaks Farm, Anthony
