Mostly prices were higher on whites and
whole, and generally unchanged on yolks when
compared to the previous week’s trading Trade
sentiment was fully steady to firm on whites,
steady to fully steady on whole and steady to
about steady on yolks. Demand was light to
good with yolk offerings adequate but held with
some confidence, whites and whole were tight
and less available Liquid and frozen eggs (in
gredients included) processed under federal in
spection in the Eastern region for the week end
ing October 18, 2003 were 2% less than the
previous week, and 4% lower than a year ago.
