Feedstuff prices were mix for the week
Demand moderate to good with limited sup
plies available. Even though some pnces
weakened from last week, ingredients have
still benefited from the rise of soybean meal
prices. Transportation is tight as truckers are
busy hauling other commodities at a higher
cost. Temperatures have cooled down a bit in
the upper Midwest but still above normal for
this time of year.
SOYBEAN MEAL 48 percent rail was
4.00 higher from 223.00-229.00. 48 percent
truck was 4.00 higher from 230.00-236 00 per
ton
CORN BY-PRODUCTS; Gluten Feed 21
percent, Interior Points was steady to 1.00
higher from 66.00-88.00; Chicago was 3.00
lower to 1.00 higher from 66.00-79.00.60 per
cent Gluten Meal, Intenor Points was 3.00
lower to 4.00 higher from 247.00-272.00; Chi
cago was steady to 15.00 higher from
255.00- per ton. Rail Hominy Feed,
Central Illinois Points was steady from
48.00- track 5.00 lower to 3.00 higher
