Atlanta, Georgia
Report Supplied by USDA
October 9,2003
Prices were unchanged. However, mediums
were trending slightly higher. The market tone
was steady. Retail and distributive demand was
light to fairly good, best where features were a
factor. Supplies of the larger sizes were ade
quate, but the lighter weight eggs were reported
as close. Breaking stock demand was moderate
for adequate to fully adequate offerings Spent
hen availability was at least sufficient for pro
cessing schedules.
