Negotiated F. 0.8. dock prices, 2 pounds and
heavier ice-packed broilers and fryers, trucklot

Trucklot buying activity was seasonally light
and unaggressive. Offerings of boneless-skinless
breasts were at least adequate. Bone-in breasts
were readily available with sharp discounting
stimulating little interest. Dark meat items were
clearing satisfactorily Tenderloins had in
creased in availability Wings were sufficient.
Retail and distributive movement was only fair.
The market tone was barely steady to weak on
bone-in breasts and tenderloins, about steady on
the balance.

yolks when compared to the previous week’s
trading. Trade sentiment was fully steady on
whites, steady on whole and cautious to steady
on yolks Demand was moderate. Offerings
were well cleared to adequate for trade needs.
Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients included)
processed under federal inspection in the East
ern region for the week ending 27 September
2003 were 4% more than the previous week,
and 5% higher than a year ago.
