Slaughter ewes were steady to firm and goats were mostly steady compared to last week. Demand and trading activity were mod erate. Carlo! lamb carcass prices for the week were sharply higher on weights under 45 lbs. Carcasses weighing over 45 lbs traded mixed. Confirmed sales this week about 83% slaughter lambs, 17% ewes and an additional 674 head of goats. Total sheep and lambs sales 1600, last week 1800 and year ago 1250.
