Annual Apple Butter Boil To Take Place In Liverpool Oct. 11 LIVERPOOL (Perry Co.) The Earner’s 52nd Annual Apple Butter Boil will take place on Oct. 11 in the church grove out side of Liverpool. The tradition of boiling apple butter started in 1951 when the church needed funds to help pay expenses. Today, 52 years later, the congregation still boils but the profits are given to charity. Besides the apple butter mak ing, there are other activities on the grounds. A pot pie dinner is served in the dining room.
