State Members Honored
KANSAS CITY, Mo. National Junior
Hereford Association (NJHA) members
from across the country traveled to India
napolis, Ind., in July, to compete in the
“Race to Indy.”
The Indiana State Fairground was buz
zing with Hereford enthusiasm and tough
competition during the 4th Junior Nation
al Hereford Expo, July 13-19.
Throughout the week, shows totaled
more than 1,070 entries and competitive
national contests highlighted the week’s
activities. The “Race to Indy” will go
down in the history books as an awesome
Hereford event.

The Banter's 52nd Annual Apple Butter Boil will he held on
October 11 2005 in the church grove outside ol Liverpool
The tradition ol boiling apple killer started in 1951 when Ihe church
needed funds to help pay expenses Today filty-two years later the
congregation still kids only lor a different reason All the profits are given
to charity
If you ask the members ol the congregation w hal is the reason you
personally help with the boil’ You II get many different reasons The
responses are as follows Tradition I grew up doing this and want to pass
