moderate. Demand was moderate. Live supplies
were moderate for plant needs with an estimat
ed slaughter of 1,343,000 compared to 1,278,000
last Tuesday. Weights were desirable to heavy.
Processing schedules were moderate.
Negotiated F.O B dock prices, 2 pounds and
heavier ice-packed broilers and fryers, trucklot
sales of US Grade A or equivalent were steady
at 58 • 70 per pound; less than trucklot sales
.55 - .71 per pound.

Mostly prices were higher on all frozen prod
ucts when compared to the previous week’s
trading. Trade sentiment was at least steady to
fully steady. Demand was moderate. Offerings
were about adequate to available. Liquid and
frozen eggs (ingredients included) processed
under federal inspection in the Eastern region
for the week ending 20 September 2003 were
5% less than the previous week, and 4% higher
than a year ago.'

AND BULK MEAT, Frozen, unless specified,
cents per lb, delivered first receivers, part and
full trucklots, as of Sept. 30. Fresh tom breast
meat trade sentiment was steady to barely
steady. Demand was light to fair for the ade
quate to fully adequate offerings. Trade senti
ment on tom bulk parts was steady to Arm. De
mand fair to good. Offerings of hen and tom
full-cut wings were short of buyers’ needs, tom
drums spotty, tom 2-Joint wings light at best
and tom necks light to adequate with some
being held with increased confidence. The trade
sentiment on both consumer sized and institu
tional breasts was steady to fully steady. De
mand light to fair with supplies confidently
held. Grade A non-basted 10-12 lb breasts trad
ed at 105 and 18-20 lb sizes at 97-100 cents de
livered domestic. Fresh tom drums traded at
42.50 cents delivered export.
