Youth Profit From Strong Livestock Sale At West Lampeter DAVE LEFEVER Lancaster Farming Staff LAMPETER (Lancaster Co.) Youth exhibitors ran 182 animals through the sale ring at the recent West Lampeter Community Fair Livestock Sale. The count included 20 steers, 113 hogs, and 47 lambs. Two dairy beef were also auctioned this year the first time West Tiffany Dean is at the halter of her 4-H champion steer, selling for $3,600 at the West Lampeter Com munity Fair. Joining Dean is buyer Jeff Wiker of H.L. Wiker and Sons, and Re becca Zurbrick, fair queen. Andrew Herr’s FFA champion hog, a 256-pounder, sold to Farm ers First Bank for $1,200. Herr is a member of the Manor FFA.
