Retail demand was mixed, but strong in the areas targeted by Hurricane Isabel, with retail outlets fully stocked. Supplies were overall in balance. Processing schedules along the East were reduced for tomorrow and Fri day, and may resume operations on Saturday; therefore, attempts were made to move addi tionally product before plants closed. In the parts structure, wings were light, particularly heavy sizes, and moving well. Tenders were also tight, but the remaining breast cuts were ade quate, and dark meat was available to close. In production areas, live supplies were moderate at mixed, but mostly desirable weights.
