week: Feeder steers over 650 lbs 2.00-4.00 high
er. Lighter weight stocker steers and calves
steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder heifers over 650
lbs steady. Lighter weight heifers and heifer
calves 1.00-3.00 higher. Demand very good for
feeder steers, moderate for heifers. Demand
good for stockers and calves. Up to 6 inches of
rain fell state wide late last week and this highly
encouraging to wheat pasture prospects. Fann
ers continue to prepare and sow wheat pastures
and still not all that interested in conditioning
calves

Prices were unchanged; however, all sizes
were trending higher. The market tone ranged
fully steady to firm. Demand into all channels
was moderate to fairly good. Supplies were ade
quate to at times tight for current trade needs.
Breaking stock offerings were adequate for the
moderate to good demand. Spent hen supplies
were at least adequate for processing require
ments.
