AGCO Introduces GT Series,
ATLANTA, Ga. Power,
comfort, and reliability define
the AGCO line and that in
cludes the newly introduced 45
to 73-PTO horsepower AGCO
GTs.
The new series is the ideal
farmstead complement to the
compact STs (20 to 55 engine
hp) and utility LTs (70 to 80-
PTOhp).
Whether 2WD or 4WD, cab
or platform configuration, the
GTs offer the perfect balance of
power to weight and a turning
radius of 10.5 feet. The series in
cludes the GT4S, GTSS, GT6S,
and GT7S.

GTs feature proven, well
balanced and efficient 3- and 4-
cylinder engines with
SynchroShuttle transmissions
and pushbutton controls for
PTO, all-wheel drive and differ
ential lock.
The GTs’ three and four cy
linder engines boast fuel injec
tors for each cylinder. This
power pairing helps ensure more
precise fuel control for a more
economical burn and reduced
emissions. The streamlined
design also allows easier access
and simpler maintenance proce
dures.
The SynchroShuttle transmis
sion with its fully synchronized
four-speed gearbox and four
speed ranges provides 16 for
ward and 8 reverse speeds. To
reverse direction, simply depress
the clutch and switch the shuttle
control without coming to a full
stop.
