After judging about 75 head of dairy cattle, judge Lisa Shaw gave the nod to Blake Bru baker of Elizabethtown, as the winner of the supreme champion of the Elizabethtown Fair Youth Dairy Show with his grand champion Holstein. DFA Meetings Sept. 11-12 SYRACUSE, N.Y. In an ef fort to provide insight into mar ket conditions, industry trends, and what cooperatives are doing to help producers, the Northeast Council of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is hosting two in formational meetings Thursday, Sept. 11 in Pennsylvania, and two meetings Sept. 12 in New York state. Gary Hanman, DFA president and CEO, will be the featured speaker. The meetings are open to all dairy producers. Bring as much information with you about the following: planting date, hybrid type, ma turity days, soil type, growing conditions, and topography (south slope, north slope, valley, etc.).
