OH., MI.) Compared to last week,
slaughter lambs were mostly 1.00-4.00
higher. Slaughter ewes were steady to
firm and goat prices remained steady. De
mand and trading activity were moderate.
Carlot lamb carcass prices were mixed on
weights over 40 lbs. Lamb carcasses under
40 lbs were sharply higher. Confirmed
sales this week about 71% slaughter
lambs, 29% ewes and an additional 751
head of goats. Total sheep and lambs
sales 1400, last week 1400 and year ago
